Hi, she was my first LV and now she's up for grabs! She is a 100% authentic vintage hobo. She's a beauty:) this handbag was dyed black, original color was tan/ light brown. I will post a picture of the bag in its original color.

mommyloveslouis @channelover this is a vintage bag from the 1970's😊❤️. There were no date codes on Louis Vuitton luggage/ handbag's prior to the early 1980's❤️.

Not trying to be rude but we should be 100% sure before making these accusations ... Just saying ... A comment like this can hurt my sale ... The first LV purse was called the Express which came out in the 30s and later renamed the Speedy. One doesn’t have to authenticate for a living to know the difference between real vs. faux.

7cochise7 Look at the bottom of your purse. LV NEVER CUTS THEIR LOGO. NEVER. The Counterfeit Act Of 1984 is harsh. I was only trying to save you from doing something illegal. Why not just take it to a Vuitton boutique? You don’t have to believe me, but you’ll believe them. Again, I’m sorry. girlie1216 Hi, I have the same bag and it was made by the French company. There is a label on mine near the inside zipper, very hard to see. I have seen other bags just like this, in very bad condition on the internet for sale. I am sure that it is authentic.

lemmebeehappy4u I am not an authenticator but I can say 100% that Vuitton DID actually make this style in the early 70's. I love this bag and have only seen it a few times in recent years on the market, not nearly as nice as this one. I love the clasp design on this style as well, Beautiful handbag !

However, a real item never has any parts of it covered by a handle, a stitch or a piece of leather to hold the handles. I hope this information is helpful. The bag appears to be authentic!

equinewoods @7cochise7 this bag is 100% legit. It was sold in the 1974 collection at Saks Fifth Avenue. It was limited for distribution to Saks. You could only purchase it from Saks. You can literally get on google, look up “Saks Fifth Avenue 1974 Louis Vuitton” advertising and find it. 🤦🏼‍♀️
