bohobiddy @gypsygranny I added a few more pictures that will hopefully answer your questions. As you can see, the handle is really long. There are a couple extra holes that allow you to shorten it another inch or two. If that isn’t short enough you could add more holes with an ice pick. We do that to our belts when they are too long.
