You mention in this listing that this palates might not be authentic. Did you purchase them from a trusted source? And does that go for all the palates you have for sale in your closet?

@slaybishslay well, to start, I need to change the desc, bc when I wrote that, I had an older palette that, if I remember correctly, had the last color listed as black heart n this one has dark heart, or vice versa, so I wasn’t sure if they were auth.

@slaybishslay I since learned that it was a mfg error and they printed so many that way, it was cheaper n easier to just change the official color name than recall all of the palettes. Also, the older palettes, mine was one of the first ones, they don’t have serial numbers, they had to add that bc of the counterfeits. I got these from a friend who’s mom works at the maybelline plant, which also manufactures L’Oréal, who owns n thus also manufactures Urban Decay.

@slaybishslay They have an on-site store where only employees can purchase products that don’t pass quality control, anywhere from slight color differences in the makeup, or casing or box, maybe a nick in the color, a tear in the box, smeared or missing serial numbers, or just any little thing that’s not perfect to send out to the stores.

@slaybishslay The ingredients are authentic and not dangerous, or from China, or anything like the fake ones. They just have slight imperfections, some I’ve checked against my palettes from Ulta and couldn’t find any differences, some I could tell some things that were different. The smoky palettes are the only ones that I haven’t found anything different in any of them, they have serial numbers on palette and box, I would recommend that one if you’re looking for a gift.

Hello!! Right after you got back to me - SO thoroughly too by the way which was greatly appreciated - I purchased a set of 3 from you from my mother’s account bc for some reason my Chase bank card won’t let me purchase online and I’ve been dealing with them for over a week!
