midwestchick @sarahbastress Hi, it's definitely a true large which to me is a 12 (14). I wear a 12 in jeans and either a large or xl on top and it fit me perfect when I tried on to check sizing. There was still plenty of room especially in the arms and front if you want to wear a bulkier top. Not sure I'm very helpful. I hope I made some sense. Thanks for inquiring. ☺

sarahbastress @midwestchick I’m a size 16 so it might be a lil snug on me. Would you mind measuring the bust for me? From seam to seam/arm pit to arm pit across the back? Thank!

midwestchick @sarahbastress ...No worries. Laying flat across the back armpit to armpit is 24"... the very bottom back across at the widest is almost 33". The only way to me to make this too fitted is if you put your hands in the pockets and pull it together too much to make it so. If you are an xl I think this would work. I wear an xl most of the time and it fit me fine. Please let me know if I can help you any further. 😊
