Blue sapphire gold plated solid sterling silver ring

This is an absolutely gorgeous genuine blue sapphire gold plated solid sterling silver ring. The stones have vivid blue color and uneven growth bands, typical of sapphire. The 3 old mine cut stones are 3 mm in diameter (about 0.25 carats each). The base is stamped 925 and is a size 11.0. It is quite heavy and weighs 9.3 grams. The gold plating has a little fading on the inside of ring shank, otherwise in great vintage condition.
