The size 3 says little girl but the 4 says big girl ....my girls are 7 and 9 and wear size 3 and 4 respectively

@cnm2205 hi, starting size 4 in shoes considered big girls coz there is size 4 in toddlers. If your daughter is wearing 4 then this is her size. Hope this helps.
