It is slightly darker than the natural beige one but it has rose tone to it and I'm not sure if that is what you are looking for. This foundation is a little bit more coverage than the original one I had.

I'm starting in on using fc as of recently. Can you tell me your personal testimony on this kind? I'm not quite sure what color. I have extreme olive undertones and tend to look yellowish if I don't get the right kind.

@mrsrumple Hi, I actually also have olive skin and my go to are either Natural Beige or Light Ivory. If you have extreme olive undertones I would recommend trying the Light Ivory. That shade works for olive (warm) skin tones but it should cover your undertones nicely due to its light shade. If you're afraid you'll look too light you can always bronze up your face with a bronzer.

@martus totally understand wasn't trying to low ball you I just don't know anything about it or what color was right for me which is why I bid that way. I don't take it personally as in my opinion you just never know what works for both sides! :-) I just research the hourglass foundation and it looks like the consistency is similar but I have never used it before. Could you tell me which color in the hourglass Immaculata foundation you use?

@irinavmitchell yeah, it looks like the color you use is like my light ivory but darker. This foundation lasts all day but it's not matifying, it leaves the skin more glow'y & smooth.

@mzotova Hi! I'm debating between Rose Beige and Light Rose. If you're planning on using this foundation mostly on its own than Rose Beige should work but if you're doing a 'full face' using bronzers/concealers/finishing powder you can probably go for Light Rose as bronzers tent to darken up your face so you don't need a 'darker shade foundation to start with'. I'm sorry if that was even more confusing ๐

@martus no that was a great answer! I contour and sometimes use bronzer to do it or in addition to the contour.. thatโs why I was thinking the light rose.. unless it looks lighter in person? And I definitely have pink undertones but I donโt to make myself even MORE pink - just look natural (or, you know, โselfie naturalโ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ)

@mzotova In the profile picture I believe I'm wearing the 'Light Ivory' (it was taken a while ago). I go between Light Ivory (mainly winter months) & Natural Beige (summer). I sometimes even mix them :) The swatches are exactly how they look in person so maybe best way is to compare those to your current foundation shade?

Hi @mzotova:) After giving some thought I decided to post another picture of the swatches. Many girls, including yourself, are unsure which shade works best for them and I believe it's partially because my original swatches were very sharp (too sharp looking perhaps). @irinavmitchell Hey sweetie, please don't apologize for asking all these questions. I know how confusing it can be and I understand you want to make the right choice. I reviewed your photos and I'm sure the natural beige is not the collar for you. You have Rosie undertone and Rose beige or light rose should be the best colors for you. Rose beige will probably work better during Summer months and light rose during winter. From looking at all your photos, rose beige should be the best option.

Yes this one beautifully covers all imperfections but it does not feel heavy at all, it makes your skin look smooth and it's truly long lasting like it says. I was wearing it the other day and walking around at the store that evening and couldn't stop staring at myself in the mirror because my face was so radiant looking ๐. @cathiv No, I don't mind advising :) It's my pleasure. I just looked at your photo and I can surely advise that the Natural Beige will be the shade for you. I also have olive skin and because of that only Light Ivory or Nature Beige are the ones I use. This foundation I'll give you a beautiful, natural glow on its own- which is so great but if you wanted to add more glow I recommend using a highlighter :)

@sbecker1962 Yes, it's a shade darker. The are both considered warm tones and will work well with olive skin type. I use natural Beige in the summer and light Ivory in the winter.

If that's correct, The two Rosie shades that this foundation offers are either Rose beige or light rose which are sold out. I would probably recommend Rose beige during summer months and light Rose during winter months. I should have more coming in mid May and will be more than happy to tag you when they arrive ๐

@aarensdorf08 Saying that, The natural beige shade comes out looking very natural on the skin, without it looking yellow and if you are willing to give it a shot I think that's not a bad bet. My mom who has Rosie complexion also uses it so it comes down to ones preference in the end.

Do you wear Rosie tones foundations? On the other hand I think natural beige could work for you in the summer time where your skin gets darker due to tanning. Natural beige is the shade I use in the summer end it looks like we have quite the similar complexion.

@phoebescloset11 I wear both to be honest, whatever the manufacturer has available. This one has just slightly a bit more coverage, but overall they are very similar in my opinion. FYI, I'm currently wearing Light Ivory or mixing both Light Ivory & Natural Beige since any rose tones don't look good on me. Since we're both blondes maybe you can give a shot to Light Ivory (works for me in a winter) but it dies have an ashy tone to it.
