@poppypetalsbtq hi, so sorry, in the process of moving and I missed your question. Yes, there is stretch but the do not “stretch out”. I kept the small, I wear a 25 waist. They fit perfect. I have 2 pair. They are by far the most comfortable denim shorts I have and I have a lot. I have to find the bin with them in. Do you want the Medium measured? @anne8035 Hi, I’m measuring now...I’m not kidding when I say they are by far the most comfortable shorts I own. They don’t have the look of stretch denim. They are a 14” waist. I wear a 25/26 and the small fit perfect.

I still have the Large in these shorts. They are they softest denim, I sold a small and medium today. The Lg waist “with stretch” is 18” 95% Cotton.TY
