Please be reasonable ladies. It is insulting to offer people half of what they are asking. Most of my listings clearly state ‼️PRICE FIRM‼️ and yet I get half price offers daily. I am currently seeking a gang of boxing kangaroos since my monkeys have been so busy lately. Having difficulty obtaining these magnificent creatures though.

I use twitter on my personal account so no clue about the store one. It’s possible she uses the real store name instead of the posh name in which case we don’t give that info out. I would never have another full price customer in the stores again! 😱

sassycrazi I don't get people either I try to sell my items at a reasonable price for buyers and priced at what I would want to pay myself. Normally when I send offers I try not to send offers greater than 30% off. Don't get me wrong I take low ball offers on items that have sat in my closet for quite some time.. Maybe those people have a limited income but really like the item and feel there’s no harm in asking. I mean, really, there isn’t any harm, is there? All you have to do is hit decline or counter. My items all say ‼️ PRICE FIRM ‼️ 10% DISCOUNT ON 2 OR MORE ITEMS FROM MY CLOSET ‼️ But that doesn’t seem to get noticed. If it is a reasonable offer sometimes I will give the bundle discount. But I don’t mark my items up with the intent of negotiating.

meboutique @mershopp The best thing to do is flag that comment and block her. You will see a little flag next to the comment. Click it and choose either offensive comment or spam and Posh will remove it. If they do t then screenshot the comment and contact Posh support and ask them to remove it.

fmarierow I understand this- but I actually like any and all offers! If the price is too low, I send an offer with my lowest with a message that opens the door to conversation and personal interaction! But I don’t sell a lot of top designer clothes and I don’t have boutique items in my closet, so thats a huge difference (though I love using the app for getting some absolute STEALS! - it’s one of the reasons I spend more time and money on this app than on clearance in stores 😉) Just another opinion 🙃

My descriptions all day price firm all it caps yet it doesn’t stop people from offering $5 on a $75 item. The great thing about selling online is reaching a global marketplace.....the bad part is you get a global marketplace. Approximately 50% of my online sales are overseas. He said he didn't give his wife permission to purchase them using his card. I ended up losing and they didn't have to return the boots. Completely insane.

meboutique @jrvaltyler Sometimes I block them. Usually I just decline and don’t respond again. Had a really rude person today offer me $20 for an $89 item. When I declined she sends a messaging telling me it’s rude not to counteroffer. So I pointed out to her that the rudeness would be on her part since she clearly couldn’t read the bold letters that say ‼️ PRICE FIRM ‼️ 10% DISCOUNT ON 2 OR MORE ITEMS FROM MY CLOSET ‼️

k8incorporated Here’s my dilemma: When I first started out I listed my items as what I thought was “fair” or even less than “fair” and then got offers for half of that or peeps just waited for offers. I ended up taking a hit! Esp b/c I didn’t even take into account PM’s cut. I was confused! So then I started following other peoples closets and realized I guess peeps want to barter. Or want a shipping discount? So I thought well if I can’t beat ‘em join ‘em. Still in a quandary over this!

meboutique @k8incorporated It is quite a quandary. I just don’t believe in artificially inflating prices with the intent of negotiating. Doesn’t seem fair to me. I have a lot of customers who purchase at the list price & if I am willing to sell it to someone else for less that’s just wrong.
