stunning_29 @abcity hi these are for both sizes meaning all even numbers ex: 2, 4, 6 are contemporary or (women's sizing) the odd numbers are junior ex: 1, 3, 5 etc.. the size chart above are directly from the vendor. I would choose based on your waist measurements. If you have a particular brand u wear, & general sizing, I can help you select the correct size.

stunning_29 @abcity hi Sarah, I just glanced at your style card , I think you could wear both a M or a L.. (imo) honestly I'd recommend a (L) bc these are rayon, so no stretch really in the hip area, the smocked waist wouldn't be an issue & if you'd like to pull them higher or lower on ur natural waistline, & have them not be too clingy . I usually ask everyone a few general Q's about sizing / fav brands to get an idea to recommend, lmk if u have anymore Q's:)
