@rmsmith_2002 hi precious, they are a beautiful CRUSHED velvet, so there are 4 or 5 facets of the burgundy/maroon color depending on the light. w/lots of sun they appear lighter. but me modeling in white slacks is outdoors w/no sun. I have them & I surely get LOTSA complements!
