mollylasiter @katiekhaos yes! It was when missymm (who verbally assaults anyone who calls her out) bought one of my items and I was looking at some grey “very prive” she had posted for sale. Then I saw where she’s slinging fakes left & right so I went to her buyers page to warn the buyer. That was when I saw that I wasn’t the only one who noticed it. 😂

So I don’t get blocked & can keep reporting any other fakes they post. She was especially rude and crude! We were the bullies according to her, for politely pointing out the obvious, yet her response was filled with lies and insults!!!

mollylasiter @loubchoogirl just saw that luxurylex got her first “love note” today from an unsuspecting victim for Valentino rockstuds that appear to have a “authenticity card” in the photos 🙄...I don’t have anything Valentino except their flip flops, but the box doesn’t look right and the soles look pretty sad. Do you know of any red flags so this person might be able to get her money back?

mollylasiter @raquel2005 I know these are small details and it’s just the box, and doesn’t always mean everything but I added a photo of the box from my authentic Rockstud sandals. I can see a lot of differences in mine & the one in the photos. So you might just want to compare the stickers + markings to the box you received. The bottom of the box is where the stamp “RN 43835 / Milan Italy” is located. And the V logo on the sides of the box top.

What’s worse is one of the Gucci bags was SO GOOD that I didn’t know until I took it to the boutique...but because of that awful experience I can now tell all the red flags on bags in their Soho Collection. LOL

loubchoogirl @mollylasiter I'm not seeing the love note, maybe it got deleted? Are you talking about the pink pair? Valentinos don't come with a card but do have a little envelope that looks like that. The shoes look a little suspect though in terms of shape, and the finish on the soles is wrong. The bag is also missing a label. I'm not a Rockstud expert so I can't speak to stud count and spacing and all of that but I would be suspicious of them.

Last summer during their sale I had a conversation with the manager at their Dallas boutique about replicas & he said that they 100% have yet to see any fakes in a half size...*knock on wood* though because they are basically waiting for the day to come. So he told me that if I see on the soles they are in a half size, they are real. And so far I can still vouch for that as an accurate statement!

I’m thinking they are just using all stock and stolen photos for their items. Also if you go on there, look at how they size. Everything is whole sizes. 36, 37, 38, 39, 40...absolutely zero half sizes.

They trick you by using the phrase “us 7.5=EU 38” etc. I feel like as soon as the Chinese learn that we use this to tell the difference in spotting real ones, they will learn how to add the half size to the shoe stamps. 😥 I still check everything else too though, never just go off the stamp. I sent that image to my friend and added the screenshot to my photos on this post! He said they do use those stickers!

mollylasiter @msanderson28 every style shoe he makes runs differently...a majority of mine show toe but they aren’t all the same. Like in Nike I’m a 8, in every pair, every time. In louboutin I own sizes 37, 37.5, 38, 38.5 & 39 and all of those sizes fit me. 😂

I’ve already emailed them about the account so hopefully they will confirm it’s a banned user and shut it down in the next few days, but the sooner the better when contacting Poshmark about a refund. If they won’t act quickly I would definitely contact the credit card or bank used for payment because selling counterfeit goods is 100% illegal.

Any new style with the “Vero Cuoio” stamp on the soles will be a knock-off but those are an exception because they are a vintage shoe...back before they had their own individual names even. I’ve seen that style sell for $100 on eBay recently so I would definitely make them a lower offer (not that $200 is a bad deal, just because that’s double what I’ve seen them sell for recently).

jackeesimpkins Molly could you look at the page for fashion_victim9. They have tons of designer shoes -all different sizes - unworn -on there which is always a red flag. There are some that have been worn they are all the same size which I’m assuming is the hosts size and she must where those. I’m concerned about all the other shoes- they look pretty good to me but she has in the comments that “an X is made at bottom to prevent returns”. If you get a chance take a look and let me know what you think 🤔 ❤️💋

mollylasiter @jackeesimpkins I didn’t go through every pair but they all looked authentic. Especially coming with the box with all the correct information, not something counterfeits will have. I didn’t see any with X on the soles and I’ve definitely never seen or heard of that. 😕They don’t accept returns anyway so that has to be an employee of a store type of situation.

tiffcake @mollylasiter I have lots of CL heels but unfortunately just those 2 pairs of boots. Regarding the wear: sometimes I wear pair multiple days w/out much damage (mostly sitting/walking on carpet) but if I’m walking on sidewalk/gravel/pavement they get chewed up really quickly. I actually don’t mind bc then they’re not so slick when I transition to polished floors/carpet. But maybe those pics aren’t enough details/angles to authenticate? I trust her opinion w/out question so hopefully she can tell

mollylasiter Oh it was 6 y’s, that’s why I couldn’t find it. But yes they are. If you have time to read through some of the comments, I’ve listed a couple tips in spotting them and as of right now, there are no replicas in half sizes (which is why the half sizes always sell out first) these are in fact half sizes. They appear to be a great shoe.

mollylasiter @veannairene the interior is a little scary and most of the pictures are blurry so it’s a little harder. Also I would need to see the “profile” side of the shoe. If there are lumps in the incline that is usually a giveaway on styles like this with platform. I would ask for more photos from her of the sides and a clearer one of the interior stamp and the sole stamp.

There are some pretty good fakes on here, it's a shame people lie to get over on someone else. But what they don’t realize is that if they sell something fake over $500 with the intention of passing it off as authentic, it becomes a felony if I'm not mistaken.

I think on here they just give a slap on the wrist for it and just won’t give them their merchandise back when it gets to the authentication location. Which I guess is still better than nothing, keeps them from repeatedly trying to rip others off with the counterfeit goods. As long as the photos aren’t stolen and the shoes you receive are the same as in the photos, you’re fine. I always worry about a non-reputable person mailing you fakes when all the listing photos were stolen from someone else’s listing 😭

But mostly from google image searching the style name “ Feerica “ Louboutin and go to the Neiman Marcus Last Call website, you will see the original pair should have glitter on the back as well as a seam line in the back and no seams on the front toe like the ones you purchased.

I noticed the comment and then inside the shoe they were kind of worn a lot for just wearing once so it made me nervous. I’m glad to know I got a great deal (over $100 less than asking). xkrxstenx @mollylasiter a pair of sharpeta’s. I can upload pics tomorrow as they’re from another site similar to this. But looks like a place in NYC replaces hardware and heel fabric so I don’t foresee a problem. Just questioning them being authentic now.

mollylasiter @rubys_closet at Nordstrom I had that problem on a closed toe So Kate and they “stretched” them for me using a hairdryer on low heat then pushing an insole inside...then they had me do it using my own foot with a sock on. It helped some, but not major because one of my feet is a half size larger 😫

They are marked sold at $600-something on the other listing so there has to be some type of story there with that where someone purchased then returned them for whatever reason.

lovetruelyvicto @mollylasiter I am nowhere near the expert you are but I know my stuff pretty well with Loubs. I'm a life long fan of the brand and a little obsessed. I get so frustrated when poshmark ignores OBVIOUS fakes even when reported. Most of the time when I let someone know politely that they have a fake (90% of the time its the "authenticity cards") the sellers delete the post and then message me a thanks because they honestly didn't know.

mollylasiter @lovetruelyvicto The soles are terrifying because they LOOK too good to tell in the photos, but the stitching is atrocious when you zoom in and the added bad form is not something that would happen to a barely worn shoe, or a heavily worn shoe. 🤣 additional red flags: The receipt envelope, who would keep a receipt envelope and not keep the receipt??? the card is just not something they do or have ever done 😑 and the box being used is even fake, wrong finish and wrong color. 😑😑😑

lovetruelyvicto @mollylasiter Exactly! But when I think the shape or stitching is off I usually keep it to myself because I worry that I might be wrong, but I was POSITIVE about the card. I politely posted the info that I was sorry to inform her they were fake and listed the card as why and a link to an article confirming that. She deleted my comment, claimed they are just some "red card", and tried calling me down.

wolf01 @kbnlogan2 Another easy way to tell fake Loubs from real ones is the sole. Fakes have perfectly flat soles all the way to the edge. Louboutin soles are beveled on the outer edge...that is to say that they angle slightly down. I have yet to see this not be true.
