My 138th surgery which was a emergency. I went to sleep just fine like I had so many times before but upon awakening I knew instantly something went differently than the others and then this soft voice "Charlene wake up,we had some difficulty and you may not be able to walk as much", well I knew because of a burning sensation down the right leg like hot ash was tossed on me. Yes I sincerely believe My Lord has a purpose for me. I was a Registered Nurse for 20 yrs in neonatal icu and all 20 I worked 12 hr night shift which killed my immune system and in 2007 I found my breast lump as I was getting ready to go back for my 3rd night,ugh exhaustion,but I go and 7 days later I'm going in for a double masectomy no reconstruction because I'm so sick the surgeons say I will die on the table. 2 weeks later I'm going to surgery for open heart surgery my port

Port for chemo/iv fluids was septic and if they didn't remove infection I would die. 6 weeks later I'm back on nights caring for the babies I so dearly loved when I was starting to wilt,so I knew a transfer to another unit for days was what I MUST DO TO SURVIVE. I managed to work 5 more yrs weekend only so my hubby could take me &pick up a he each way. On disability kicking & screaming because being a nurse was my identity,but God gives us a good shaking to wake up and see who we really are~Christian wife,mother,daughter,nonnie to 4 beautiful grands,and then a forever disabled nurse who gets $460 a mth and $210 goes for meds and the rest to live on. It is a slap in my face but it is it! So I do posh because I love to crochet it takes my head to calmness,so I beg the posh yarn sellers to please help me with a deal and miss Betty

I will find her a watch for her 83rd bday because 1)she is such a dear friend better than family,2) her husband Bob who passed 12 yrs ago gave her a watch when they married and about 5 yrs ago she losses the pixel possession. We would go in pawn shops,2nd hand jewelry stores trying to find that exact watch but never have so now she has excepted it's gone so I now will find her a replacement watch but not a replacement memory of Bob and her wedding watch.
