We think She was attacked by our rescue dog while we were at work. She has a broken paw & stitches on her face and stitches on the paw that’s not broken. We also found out she has a heart murmur and will be seeing a specialist. Now that tax season is over, I’m unemployed so I get to stay home with her. She’s quite the little trooper!
Update! Sugar made a complete recovery but 2 years later, her heart is now enlarged and will have to be on heart meds for the rest of her life. My poor little girl

@ginnydog oh no! I hope they are ok and have a speedy recovery. There’s nothing worse than sick children or animals. They don’t know why they hurt. Breaks my heart. My girl is a real tough cookie and already hopping around on 3 legs.

@sjlink thank you. All the stitches are out and she hasn’t had to wear the cone at all. She’s so smart she knows to leave the cast alone. We had it changed and the vet put it onto lose and it fell off and she tried to walk on it and it set her back a bit but she’s doing great and has next cast Change on Saturday. Thank you for asking and I would love to see a picture of your baby. What color is he/she?

@sjlink oh I just read your message again, he’s a boy. We have a mini boy also that’s a black tri. They made really cute babies several years ago. I miss having puppy’s around. They’re a lot of work but so much fun.

@kkristinw I would love to see pics, do you have a boy or girl? What color? We also have a mini black tri boy named Caine which goes with my baby Sugar and our biggest boy Ashyr is great perenese and Aussie Shepherd. He Weighs 130+ lbs.

@kkristinw he was just diagnosed with bone cancer last week. We devastated. We are doing anything we can to make sure he’s comfortable and not in pain. We bought some extra beds to put around the house so he has a comfortable place to lay down. The kids are coming home a week from Saturday to say goodbye. We all just love him so much. We’re losing a member of our family

@mpython thank you. That is so sweet of you. I just want to make sure he’s comfortable and has everything he needs. The vet gave us medication for nerve pain, anti inflammatory meds and pain pills. I’m giving him enough to be comfortable but not drugged up. He’s still eating well so I just keep praying for a miracle.

@mpython part 2- The kids live in Redding with their own families but they’re coming home a week from Saturday to say goodbye. We’re all a mess. But I just want to repay some of the love and friendship he’s always given us in the last 10 years.

@deenanelson I am so so sorry to hear that. I have worked at an animal hospital for the past three years, and have experienced loosing one of my own and I know it is the hardest thing in the world. I hope your good memories with your sweet dog help you get through this tough time. I do have pictures of my girl but I am not sure how to share them on here. @cuteamore she’s all better thank god. And we adopted a senior Great Pyrenees. They were originally bread for guarding livestock and I swear she thinks Sugar is a baby lamb. She follows her everywhere. So cute.

@queengemini22 awe thank you so much the cardiologist said that the murmur van really effect her quality of life but she wasn’t showing any symptoms then so we didn’t pay the $3000 they wanted to run some more tests and we just couldn’t afford it. This sweet doggie is already called the million dollar baby.

@queengemini22 part 2- can you tell I love my babies lol. So they have me things to look for so I will know if she’s having trouble and she didn’t have any then but it’s been a while and she turned 10 on 10/14/19. And the last week of so she’s having trouble. She is just panting a lot. But I count her breaths when she’s sleeping so they’re still within rangenbut I’m still so worried about my baby girl💕🙏🏻💕🐶💕

@thriftyjesd yes that is one of them. She’s slowing down for sure. But I adopted a 2 year old red Merle female that needed to be rescued badly. I e had her 2 weeks and has been diagnosed with lupus and possible cancer. So now I’m taking care of 2 babies 💕🙏🏻💕🐶💕

@funwithleather hi, yes she is still hanging in there. Her heart murmur has progressed to congestive heart failure but she’s been on blood and heart meds for about 16 months now and is still fighting. But I know the time will come when I will have to say goodbye but for now I cherish everyday 💕🐶💕🙏🏻💕
