pammalla This is close to my heart as well. My mom committed suicide when I was 10. I had so many thoughts as to why I caused this to happen. Now, 40 years later, I hear of so many parents committing suicide and I want to reach out to kids and talk to them and let them know it is not their fault.

believer13 @pammalla first of all I am so sorry for your major life trauma and loss . You will be in my prayers . I lost a cousin to it as well & I am a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry ! Know this my dear sister on Posh it was NOT your fault ! Depression affects more people then you know and some people can’t see past the darkness I counsel people and have for 23 years in my practice and 30 years as a nurse I have seen so much 🙏💕❤️

pammalla @believer13 Thank you so much for your kind words. I know that it was not my fault, but at 10 years old, I did not know that. And that is what I want other kids to know. But I have no training. I just want to let friends know that I am available to talk to their kids if they need someone to talk to without judgement.

It is so important esp during these trying uncertain times we are ALL living through. please know if you having these kinds of thoughts REACH OUT there are sooooo ppl out there to help you. Please don't do anything that you wont even be able to come back and regret. Suicide is awful think of all of the heart wrenching family and friends you would leave behind. How fair is that????
