lionesssally Good morning Jane, I lived in Houston back in 1980 and 81 and I came back here for Christmas. It was 60 degrees outside and I saw people with heavy winter coats and women in full length furs, which I loathe, and I remember thinking that they would never survive a "real winter" lol! We are going to have this severe cold all week...brrrrr! Except for taking Penelope to the vet I don't have to go out this week...yay! Stay warm my friend ❣ Hugs to stay warm with ❣💕🐈🐾🐕🐢♌

lionesssally Ah, you are quoting from one of my all time favorite songs! My favorite recording of this song is Joan Baez live from the album "From Every Stage" This double album is incredible from beginning to end. I have a wonderful relationship with God and I couldn't be more grateful, although I do try. Aren't we blessed to be aware that "he" loves us unconditionally? lionesssally 2 years ago last October, I was glancing through a local magazine and I saw that she was playing in a fairly new facility within that week. I swear to you that I knew I didn't pick that magazine up by mistake. I never thought I would have the honor and privilege of seeing her in concert. I will never forget that night! I have always said that the 2 most beautiful voices in the world are Barbra Striesand and Joan Baez ❣ Needless to say, there were tears, but lovely tears ❣😓🐢♌

lionesssally Wow, that is fantastic! I love how Joan Baez sang harmony with the audience singing the verse, and all acappella!!! You should also listen to Swing low sweet chariot, also acappella. Jane, she hits a high note that is so clear and magnificent that I cry almost every time I listen to it. As someone who sings I can tell you that she is truly a one of a kind! lionesssally Wow! Now you know why I say that seeing her live in concert was such an honor and a privilege! As a singer I appreciate the purity of her voice, you can really here the passion she feels for each word she sings. When singers like Mariah Carey hit those high notes they sound so forced and I honestly cringe when I hear them. Joan is 70 plus years and she looks beautiful and sounds just the same as she did when she sang those in the 70's.

lionesssally My sweet Jane, thank you for prayers! Penelope is 3rd from the bottom, brown face with white stripe going up the middle. I was working with her on her training and finally it hit me "Penelope, Penelope" She is fun, bouncy and quirky. She is just the sweetest, happiest little girl in the world! lionesssally Thank you, his blue eyes were hypnotic! He was handsome and very special. He had a gift and he touched so many lives, but none more than mine ❣I lost him 3 years ago this June 12th. I still miss him desperately. I am still trying to figure out how to live without my big beautiful boy Buddy. He was and still is my heart ❣ 💕🐕🐾🐈🐢♌
