annarbear @petuniabelle thank you :). Do you have any info on the blue topaz as being a true gem? Is it more pale blue in color? Pictures can deceive. Thanks for your trouble.

petuniabelle @annarbear I only can tell you that it was sold to me as a true topaz. I'd say it's more on the pale side. I'll try to get a better picture of it tomorrow, it's at work and I'm home now.

annarbear @petuniabelle thank you. Sounds good. I won’t be wearing it habitually so the plated gold is no biggie. But the color of gem is in order to match my bracelet.

petuniabelle @annarbear ok i really tried to get a good pic of the color however my phone is not all that great at taking pics of small things up close. but the 3rd picture of it on my finger is pretty close to the color and the best i'll get. I would say to me it looks more like an aqua marine than a topaz. I hope that helps! Sorry i couldnt do better!

annarbear @petuniabelle Do you think the sizes on the ring run true to size? I actually wear 5 1/2 on my ring finger but it has a little bit of width on the band so if it runs small or true to size I think it will be good.

annarbear For those contemplating this ring purchase. The gold matches my wedding band that is of extremely high quality 14kt gold! The blue topaz is as close to the genuine color it should be. I am thankful I purchased it. I was worried the gold would look brassy or too goldish /shiny. It is comfortable as well.
