dkstyles Well said!! I get comments like that. Sometimes people seem very enraged that I price my item higher than another random seller. But my items are from my closet or a family members. I don’t go to thrift stores and resell items, I take care of my clothes and I also value my time. Next time someone posts a comment like this I will go get a cookie and they can buy the other item.

theposhbossnow @dkstyles I am the same! I am sooo careful with my items, some new, never used. Others have sold out in stores & are no longer available to buy. Traders or buyers want them, but want a price match for the lowest $ they find online... even when no longer available or for a used item. 🤔🤔🤔 Just buy the item you found. You were either lucky enough to get a hell of a deal, or willing to compromise condition for the lower price.

theposhbossnow I think it just gets complicated sometimes because you have a mix of people online who are selling to make a profit, & others who are willing to let go of prized possessions ONLY for the right price or trade. We are OK just keeping our own items.We may be better off because our items are single-owner pieces, not retraded from seven different people.

Happens all the time to me as well. “Amazon has it listed cheaper” “saw this same item cheaper in another closet” etc. We all price our items accordingly based on what we paid for the item at the time. If certain individuals would like yard sale prices than they should go and support and purchase from their neighborhood yard sales. It’s not easy being us! Happing Poshing! Your closet is amazing! There are weeks sales are slow and many of our amazing Poshers had great sales and feel that’s wonderful and I am happy to see that good hearted, loyal, and beautiful Poshers are achieving and being successful. 🙌

It seems now a lot of people here are out to get someone. I’ve never been bullied til this past year by a girl I did a trade with and she didn’t send her end to me for over a month and not what we agreed to trade on but she sent junk to me. She’s bullied me since and she’s been removed 4 times for harassment

People get kicked off come right back with fake names and different emails. Poshmark should start doing something with people that’s been thrown off more than once go by their address or something so they can catch these people who make closet after closet up and continue to bully people

2ndtimescharmmo Love this! I would like to say though that just because I resell & sometimea have items listed cheaper doesn't I get my items from a thrift store or they been traded 6 or 7 times. A lot of my items are nwt and nwot ( which in my closet ALWAYS means New NEVER WORN item without retail tag attached), some are from mine or family's personal closet & I do consignment.

And lets be honest it doesnt matter how low you price something someone will want it cheaper and will make a lowball offer. Between the offer button and the commercial with the $100 louboutin's Posh has made ita garage sale environment.

I’m also going to start doing thrift stores and stuff I love how you can get name brand clothes etc for so little and then resell that’s what a lot of people do on Poshmark

My comment was also directed at some of the poshers that commeted on this post that felt the need to stereotype & put down those that didnt pay full price.

I say to each there own and no need to cut someone else down to make yourself or your items better. Even resellers sell NWT Higher end brands, probably 75% oc items I sell never even make it to posh. I have a bad fall and injured my right foot and will never be able to wear these types of shoes/ boots again. I love my boots so much.
