I had someone helping me out with some of the packaging of items while I was gone and I said I thought it would just fit in a small box, but apparently it should have gone into something bigger - eek. I’m sorry to hear you were somewhat disappointed with your order. To be clear, the condition of the item was clear in the photos, and I did not claim them to be new without tags or anything like that. Many of items I sell are not brand new, they are gently worn. Also in reference to why I sell my items, yes the extra little money (like the $1 and change I get for selling those socks) is great for me, it helps pay off student loans and things like that. However the primary reason I sell my clothes is so that they don’t end up in landfills. I don’t want you to think I had bad intentions by selling you that item. This is how deceptive pictures can be and its not just you, they are on many listings, mostly in color most of the time. To me, the socks looked as though someone has opened them, unfolded or unpackaged and saw they weren't what they wanted, the wrong size or something. I was shocked when they arrived all in a ball and I unrolled them and saw they look as if someone has worn them many times.

No, I never thought you intentionally tried to deceive. That's why I did 4 stars. I couldn't give five when 100% satisfied but I didn't believe bad intent or deception was intended. As I said, I didn't expect new, they were listed as that, but the picture looked newer (at least to me) than what they were. I thought perhaps you were selling items from an estate of someone who had passed and that's why they were worn. Now that I know they're yours, why sell? Just grew tired of them?

Speaking of socks, and to bring a little humor into the socks confusion. I read years ago actor Tony Randall, neat freak from the TV show Odd Couple. Remember him? His housekeeper said he would NEVER rewear a pair of socks. Each night when undressing, he placed his socks in the trash. Bet her family had the best socks in LA area. I do not know why he wouldn't, just that he didn't. Now THOSE would have been great socks to sell. (I'd put a smiley here if they had them available.)

Got an email saying it had been delivered to mailbox at 3:47 pm or something like that. At 7 pm or so I called my dad and he said he had it. Whew! I thought I would hear from my mom but I didn't. But then, maybe she wasn't feeling well or something. I've learned to not read too much into things. That's life when you have a parent dealing with dementia. Last time she called me 3 times, each time believing it was the first. I'm 99% sure it arrived fine but will report when I know for sure.

I turn 59 on June 29th, the same day my parents celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. My nephew WAS to have been married on June 28th which was to be one day after whom he was named after, my great-grandfather, Ross, who was married on June 27th. Ross was born 1894 and Landon Ross was born 1994. There are numerous other similarities. BUT....they've had to postpone the wedding until Sept. 13th.

It's a birthday gift for my niece, one of the most cat crazy females you can find. Even as a child, she didn't really care for dolls, not Barbie, not American Girls, everything was the cats. It's a good thing they lived on a farm, she had 22 at one point. But ALL outside then, my brother doesn't go for inside animals. Now in her own home, she has her cats.

Well it went to a good home where it will be used for a holiday or other special meal with an entire tablesetting of other Fostoria. @minkerbell It was perfect. I pulled it from the envelope and was shocked not a wrinkle in site. It absolutely SAVED the day. I'm trying not to spend anymore than I need on clothes at these larger sizes hoping I won't stay here. It makes me feel so badly for women who have been large their entire life, I don't know how they do it. It's exhausting. I HATE menopause, I'd rather deal with something every month. Getting old is a pain but I guess its better than the alternative. No matter what...

size I try to keep a few dress clothes on hand just in case something comes up, good or bad. What I did discover is I forgot about the blouses for suits. Need to get a few in to keep on hand. What's irritating is if I pigged out and stuffed my face, but I'm gluten intolerant and never have an appetite, I eat little each day. They say, stress makes it worse. Gee, I'm sorry I get stressed worrying my dad may die, won't worry about it any more. Don't these doctors ever think about what they say?
