new_york_styled When the dress was altered professionally, the pockets were kept intact, however, they were tucked in the skirt pleating, because the sides of the dress needed to be taken in. They’re still accessible and still function as pockets, they’re just not as visible or accessible as they were in the pre-altered gown.
