This dress from Due Per Due (found at Nordstrom) is 100% Silk (polyester lining) and so completely stunning. It has the most gorgeous fall colors (olive green, red, orange, deep blues). It reminds me of gorgeous agate rocks. Has a dramatic bow in the back. Plunging v neck/halter top. Rushing under the bust. Measures 16.5" across the back and 17.5" across the front, going from side boning to side boning (which causes a slight wrap around, if that makes sense). and 46 1/2 inches from to to bottom

maryjo2963 Hello @squeakersisters ! This is so gorgeous! Just wanted to double check though .... I see it’s a size 14 but the bust measurement is only 15? Does it have something to do with the way it was measured since it’s a halter? I can’t imagine a size 14 only accommodating a 30” bust :)

squeakersisters @maryjo2963 Ok just pulled this back out to re-measure and I believe my original measurement is off, and I can see why! The boning along the side can make it tricky to measure. I measured 16.5" across the back and 17.5" across the front, going from side boning to side boning (which causes a slight wrap around, if that makes sense).

maryjo2963 @squeakersisters thank you for taking the time to do that! How much stretch is I. This fabric? It still seems awfully small for a 14. Usually they’re between 20” and 22” across. Sorry to be such a pest but I’ve had a few things arrive that didn’t fit any tweets near like I thought they would. So just want to make sure first:) Thank you!!!!

squeakersisters @maryjo2963 it has some give but not a ton. I know...it’s tough to ensure s good fit without getting to try it on, especially since it really can vary, brand to brand.

maryjo2963 @squeakersisters hi again! Just realized what may have been my misunderstanding.... the measurements that you took from the boning .... were they more the waist/abdomen rather than bust? That sizing would make sense then :)
