I hate to say it, but I've been selling on other platforms for years; the lowballers are the WORST to deal with. If you accept, they complain; if you don't accept, they come back and buy at your price (sometimes, and these are the WORST times), but still complain. Maybe not common practice for all, but I block anyone who offers 50% or less. I need the money; but the headaches aren't worth it!

chamlover @flippintickled I made the mistake in accepting a lowball offer (60%)😢 NEVER again!<:-( I ASSumed she was poor. I wrapped with tissue between folds tied with nice ribbon & bow & gifted a padded hanger, sealed in plastic bag inside mailing box. I got 1 ⭐️ and ”could improve” What!? 😢

flippintickled @shopper__girl I've been called worse than "demented"! :) We all have different business practices. Some broadcast "Lowball Me!" So, look at it as a WIN for yourself. If I block, that's more potential for other sellers. I'm OK with that. I don't get offended/take it personally, but sometimes it's not just a starting point. Sometimes it's a strong indication of trouble. I weigh it, & I check the buyers Posh History. Sometimes I work with them, sometimes I block them.

nickiecrow @flippintickled I didn’t know u can block. How? Had someone lowball me on a Michael Kors NWT tie I accepted. She gave me 1⭐️ told me it was garbage. Said my photo was bad that it didn’t look like it. A lie! Told her to send it back and reported her as I saw she does that regularly. So I took a picture of her profile & posted as Beware of Seller post. Posh told me not to worry about it. 🙄 That was disappointing. I find that the ppl that lowball me have no listings.... weird! flippintickled @nickiecrow Howdy... Yes, you can block a user from having access to your closet for excessive habitual lowballing, harassment, or any reason you see fit. You go to their closet, and at the upper right, where it says "About" "Following" there are 3 dots directly to the right of those boxes, when you click those dots, and drop-down appears, and "Block User" is one of your options.

flippintickled @nickiecrow Another thing: if someone comments on 1 of your listings, and it's "Spam", such as trying to promote their own closet or Sale, or a similar item for a better price ON YOUR LISTING... or if their comment is in some other way negative/not to your liking, go to the comment, and directly beside the "Reply" is a little gray FLAG. Click the Flag, it turns red, marks the comment as SPAM, and it either removes the comment or makes it invisible.

sunnybluz Hi! I just to let folks know that that countering a ‘lowballer’... more than once... is a waste of time. It may bring your closet down to their level. How so? I got a lowball offer on some Great Merrill shoes last week, 50% off my ask. I countered, they countered again a dollar more 🥴. I ended the listing! Relisted at a higher price. Two days later sold! I got love-note 😘 that she was very pleased! This happens and keeps your ‘Solds’ up where they look good!

tehlittleone I had some girl offer me $10 for a pair of $50 boots! unreal. and then you have girls who lowball you but mark their stuff up way over what's reasonable! I had another girl who kept lowballing me then bought it at my asking and as soon as she got it she opened a case saying it was damaged and she got to keep the item and got a refund. that's why I started blocking lowballers.

halleb1017 LOVE this post!! 💕 Poshmark needs to add a "lowest price you will consider" - just like FB Marketplace, therefore if any buyers try to lowball, it'll provide them with "error" message that states it won't even be sent to the seller because it's too low. 🙌 Would save me some grief! 😂
