newlifeshop@lindachris So sorry! Was she a dogo? She looks a lot like ours. Beautiful!

Jan 23Reply

lindachris@newlifeshop Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. Do not understand dogo? Maybe it was a typo?

Jan 23Reply

newlifeshop@lindachris No, I thought she might be a Dogo Argentino. It’s a more rare breed and I don’t see them too often, but Dolce looks a lot like one. 😊

Jan 23Reply

lindachris@newlifeshop She was a rescue from another state. The humane society here always labels them Lab Mix. She looked like she an American Bulldog and it looked like she had a little Pit in her. She was my beautiful baby girl. 💔

Jan 23Reply

lindachris*Sorry for the typos.

Jan 23Reply

newlifeshop@lindachris She sure was beautiful! I never had a dog until I married my husband. He has always had one and is super attached to them, and now that I have experienced loving one I can’t imagine what it will feel like to lose her! They sure are a gift from above! I remember watching a show with Cesar Milan and he said “you end up with the dog you need” and I think that is so true.

Jan 23Reply

lindachris@newlifeshop That is so true. They become your family. My baby was my second daughter. 🙏

nbayareastylingDolce was a beauty! 💜 I have found comfort since a child since the movie “All Dogs go to Heaven”. I hope you will find comfort of the belief that she is in ☮️ and was greeted by the dogs I loved Blue, Zeus, Madison, and Roxy, and all of the others who went before her, for a new adventure!

Feb 03Reply

nbayareastylingIf you have a Facebook they have added a new feature where you can choose a non profit organization or charity of your choice. Perhaps the cancer research for dogs you mentioned is available with the ability for people to make monetary donations based on the goal amount you are hoping to raise. Good luck and God bless 🙌

lindachris@flutter_buys Hello. Are you in Florida??

Mar 07Reply

ladycrackerjack@lindachris 💕Rest in Peace, Sweet Dolce

Mar 07Reply

flutter_buys@lindachris Hey Linda! 💖😁 Yes, we came down here almost a week ago, for the month of March. How are you doing? So sorry for the loss of your baby. I know it’s not easy. I had my baby Jessica for 16 years. But yeah trying to get some much needed vitamin D with the sunshine! So gray and dreary up home! 💖💜💕😘

Mar 07Reply

lindachris@flutter_buys Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. 🙏 Are you on my coast? I would love to see you. 😍

Mar 07Reply

flutter_buysWe are in south west. Where are you located? The weather has been great so far! Yesterday a little chilly but nothing compared to Jersey! lol! Supposed to be in 80’s all week!! We are gonna go on one of the fishing boats sometime too. 😁👍💜 Oh and found an Awesome thrift store here!!! Gonna pack the car on the way home! lol!! 💖😁

There are my babies too.❤️ In July I will celebrate 6 years cancer free. I am truly blessed. Anything I can help you with please reach out. U are not alone.

discoveredtwiceSorry for your loss♥. I lost my yellow lab at 8 yrs old to cancer. He only lived 4 days after being diagnosed. Selfishly, 3 of those days were spent going to different specialist hoping to save him. He was my baby. It's been 6 years since he passed, but I still cry for him. Nothing compares to a dog's love. I got a tattoo of him on my shouder. Your baby is beautiful!

Mar 19Reply

lindachris@discoveredtwice Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. I am so very sorry for your loss. I feel exactly like you do. I also went to 3 cancer specialists hoping for a miracle. I feel like I was wasting time instead of preparing for the inevitable. The name of her cancer was hemangiosarcoma. It is undetectable and incurable. I still can’t understand it. I thing the tattoo was an amazing way to honor your baby. You are both in my thoughts and in my prayers. 🙏

jakesemporiumAwwg...just saw your comment about pretty girl Dolce. For those of us that "Get It", it was hard reading her story. So glad you have so many puctures snd and memories ofbyour fur baby. My site is named after my fur baby, Jake. We decid3d as a group to do the site to raise monies for various family concerns. One of them is animal abuse and no-kill shelters. As of today, Jake is still with us and going on 18. Thanks for sharing Dolce's story.

carolescreation@lindachris Hi hun, I'm so sorry to hear after your beautiful fur baby . I used to have a fur baby that looks just like yours. Her name was Dixie. She died from cancer too. Jun 26Reply

lindachris@carolescreation Was the name of the curse Hemangiosarcoma?

Jun 28Reply

carolescreation@lindachris Hi there, I'm not really sure . She passed in 2006. I have it written down at home . I'm at my son,s house tonight . I'm going home tomorrow and I will look it up . It seems like it had carcinoma in the name. The vet said skin cancer though. It came on so quickly. I grieved so much when I lost . I know it's got to be the same for you because they are family. But I will let you know for sure tomorrow. Thank you for reaching out to me.

j0llybeanSorry to hear of your loss. It never easy when they are your family. I still miss mine even though its been a long time time since mine has passed. What a beauty yours is. Aaaawe, such happiness in her face. 🥺💗🙏

Apr 03Reply

lindachris@j0llybean Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words. You are right. They ARE family. I am so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, time does not take away the pain. 🙏

Apr 03Reply

j0llybeanThank you. You wish they would live much longer but unfortunately that's how it is. You do move on eventually, but the memories will always remain.

Apr 03Reply

lindachris@j0llybean That’s the worst part about it. She was only nine. 😓

Apr 03Reply

j0llybean@lindachris that's so sad that she wasn't able to live her full life to pass naturally. Mine was able to fortunately. My boy went down in the basement knowing he was going to die at the time he did. Went down there so no one would see him gone. My father found him there and buried him in the woods. Dogs do have some kind of sense like we do to know. I don't know how it was for yours, but still so sad.

Apr 03Reply

lindachris@j0llybean Omg. I am so sorry to hear that. Yet happy that he passed quickly and hopefully peacefully. 🙏 That was my dream that she would pass that same way. Mine was my worst nightmare. The name of the cancer is Hemangiosarcoma. Undetectable and not curable. She suffered horrifically. 💔

Apr 03Reply

j0llybeanOh my, so very sorry she had to endure that. I couldn't and wouldn't want to imagine having to see her go through that. For mine I'm so sure it was peacefully. Thank you for the kind words.

Apr 03Reply

lindachris@j0llybean Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. I see that image every day when I wake up and every night when I go to bed. She was like my second daughter. I have actually been diagnosed with PTSD from that horrible night. Please spread the word about this horrific cancer especially to people that have large fur baby’s. I had no knowledge of this cancer. The guilt of that puts unbearable pain on me every day. 😓

Apr 03Reply

j0llybeanThat's horrible that you have PTSD from this. But you should NEVER feel guilty for all you did and tried to do. I'm sure she was grateful and loved you alot for all of it. Sometimes things are not under our control, and you shouldn't blame yourself at all. For me I had him and another that past not to many years later. The other one was more so my sister's. I think about him (here and there or if I see or hear something that bring memories up) more so since he was around a bit longer.

Apr 04Reply

j0llybean...and come to find out, he had famous parents. I might forgotten it was said when I was younger but was told not long ago that he did. My mother still has the birth certificate somewhere to I'm sure state that. I mean who knew. It would be in a way nice if I was, but someday who knows or what the future holds, lol.

Apr 04Reply

lindachris@j0llybean 🙏

Apr 25Reply

lindachris@grace4d Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. 🙏

Apr 25Reply

grace4d@lindachris I know it’s hard!! I’ve lost 2 chihuahuas in the last. 2 years. It hurts so much. I see them everywhere - can almost feel them. They were both with me a long time (my constant & loving companions) & I have 1 left now. He will be age 20 at the end of May. Blind & deaf but still with me constantly.. I’m so sorry u lost yours early & to cancer. 😭❤️

Apr 25Reply

lindachris@grace4d I am so your for your loss. Nobody realizes it is like losing a family member. Two at once. 0mg. I can definitely understand your pain. God bless your baby that you still have. I didn’t even know they could live that long. He is very lucky to have you as his eyes and ears. 💞 My baby was only 9. I absolutely thought we had at another 9 years together. 💔

Apr 25Reply

lindachris*I am so sorry for your loss. Sorry for the typo. I forgot to edit before I hit post. Fingers numb from posh today. 🤦‍♀️

Apr 25Reply

grace4d@lindachris I wish they lived longer it really does feel like losing a child. Mine were rescues in puppy mill. we were surprised how long they lived but am very grateful 2. Another2 chihuahuas lived to 14 yrs. A rescue half breed pit bull who only lived 8 years.. I’ve read that small dogs live longer. I also now have one crazy cat “CC” & a bunny I’m about to rescue who has lived in a cage for 4 years. sad but he is so sweet! their love is so precious..l tho it hurts it’s totally worth it.❤️

Apr 25Reply

lindachris@grace4d Omg. My sister used to have a rabbit. We loved it dearly. They are really smart. I think you’re right. The larger size dogs for some reason are prone to these cancers. I don’t know why. It just destroys my brain cell thinking about it every day. I love that you rescue because you’re right. It’s not not just the adoption centers. It is also the puppy mills. You are actually rescuing because you don’t know what they will end up doing with them. 🙏

mycloset81307@lindachris awh that’s terrible 🥺 it’s so great that you decided to use the money you earn for her cause 💞 that’s amazing and we need more people like you in the world 💞 she’s really cute btw 💕 🥺😭

May 14Reply

lindachris@mycloset81307 Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. I am trying. I found out the reason there is no research is because this particular cancer is very rare in humans. Therefore, no research. It is harder than I thought it would be. I will definitely need to get additional help with funding some other way. 🙏

May 15Reply

mycloset81307@lindachris awh 🥺 I really hope you earn a lot 💞 good luck 💕

May 15Reply

lindachris@mycloset81307 Thank you so much. It really made me realize that material things mean nothing to me. I was a shopaholic. I always think maybe if I took her for a wellness check instead of buying another bag or shoes that I absolutely did not need. Maybe, somehow, I could have detected it earlier. She was only nine. 💔

starzelda7Hello Linda, My heart goes out to you over the loss of your beloved Dolce.😥 She looks like she was wonderful to cuddle with, a soft & sweet girl. I don’t think we ever get over loss of our fur babies/best friends. You are giving Dolce a great legacy by contributing to research on her cancer. My sympathetic wishes for your continued comfort over her loss. I hope you can rescue another soon, who will help heal & cuddle with you, too.☺️🌹🎀💐✨

May 21Reply

lindachris@starzelda7 Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It really means a lot to me. You are absolutely correct. She was so sweet and I loved to cuddle with her. ❤️

r_gloverA post shared by Carson Daly after he lost his parents: “grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.” I am so sorry for your loss. Our pets are the only ones who truly give unconditional, untainted love with the purest of hearts. ♥️ One day at a time ♥️

May 27Reply

lindachris@r_glover Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It really means a lot to me. This message touched my heart. It is exactly the way I feel. Many people think there is a difference in your grief because it is not a human loss. There is absolutely no difference. It is a family member. Thank you for reminding everyone of that. God bless you and your family. 🙏

May 27Reply

flutter_buysHi again, not sure if you got my message? Hope everything is ok? Thanks for the shares! 🥰💖💕💜

lana_del_taco@lindachris I’ve been there. Two within six months of each other, six years ago. I now have two beautiful and beefy pitbulls, whom I completely adore! They are absolutely wonderful creatures. We do not deserve dogs. But boy should we be thankful for the fact that they exist ♥️

Jul 28Reply

lindachris@lana_del_taco I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere sympathy and deepest condolences. I am so happy to hear you now have two pits. I love them. Dolce was a rescue but she definitely had some pit in her. My daughter has two pits. 💕

Aug 04Reply

lindachris@tantemoonbeam Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere sympathy and deepest condolences. 🙏 Was it the same horrific cancer?

Aug 04Reply

tantemoonbeam@lindachris mangeosarcoma, and one of my friends lost hers the week before to the same thing. Hers was detected and being treated. My Jake’s was sudden. Both Labradors.

Aug 04Reply

lindachris@tantemoonbeam Is it the same cancer that I have the name of it at the top of this listing? I can’t look at it while I’m texting you but the one my baby had - there is no cure or no treatment. 💔

Aug 04Reply

tantemoonbeam@lindachris it’s the same one .. hemangiosarcoma. I’ll ask my friend what her vet was trying to do w/it, or maybe they were just keeping an eye on it. Jake, I had no idea he had it. Your baby is so precious. Again, I am so so sorry. Life just isn’t the same is it?

Aug 05Reply

lindachris@tantemoonbeam You are absolutely correct. Life definitely is not the same. I had no idea she had it. She was only nine. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. 💔

liledeglace🌈RIP to Dolce! I dunno when this happened, but thank you for raising awareness for this type of cancer, so that more doctors in the future will know to research on it. some cancers are very prominent in certain breeds. I'm lucky that our rescue is a lab retriever mix.

Aug 17Reply

liledeglace❤thanks for putting all your earnings towards finding the cure for this specific cancer. I know a lot of oncologists who may be able to help spread awareness, unfortunately none of them are vets. Best of luck on your successful fundraiser! During this difficult time where people are researching and finding a cure for covid, it's nice to see that there are animal lovers out there who still want to save all of God's beautiful creatures.

Aug 17Reply

lindachris@cynplanner Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. I really do appreciate you. 🙏

Sep 05Reply

lindachris@liledeglace Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. I apologize for the delay in my response to thank you. I somehow missed this. My beloved Dolce was a lab mix rescue. Please research the name of this cancer. It is in my listing. I always forget how to spell it. I try to warn everyone about this horrific cancer. I wish someone warned me. I had no clue about it. 💔

Sep 05Reply

lindachris@liledeglace Thank you. What I have learned so far is that there is no research on this type of cancer because it is very rare in humans. I don’t know if any of the doctors you know can help in any way. If so, please let me know. This is so much harder than I thought it would be. 😓
