If this is first in my closet, my items have already been shared to the party! From Posh Support: To clarify, when a listing is shared to a party, regardless of how many times it is shared, it will only show up in the party once and the position will not move. However, Shares from your followers to their "followers" will go to main feed. From Me: Thanks so much for sharing my items but it won't do any good to share them to existing party... Please Share with YOUR Followers! Thank You!

I think this answers the question about sharing to parties. So for example if I share all of my items to a party first, your later shares of my closet would go to your followers instead of posting to the party a second time. Hopefully this helps and as always thank you a million for all of your shares!! 💕

sluvscats Beth, hi, thanks so much for the info re 🎈Party Sharing. And re guns, I didn’t look at this woman’s listings cuz her Posher Pic disgusted me. She was seated on the floor I think & had a knife, a gun, & bullets laid out beside her, I couldn’t believe Posh allowed it. I’m not sure if I saved it somewhere on my phone or not. Crazy

starwink8 Thats interesting. I was told by posh support probably a year ago that the position does move if you share it again but only shows up once on the party feed when the party finishes. They also said that if you share someones listing to a party it actually also goes to their followers as well. Thats why you will sometimes see a double share of an item in ur own feed. Not sure if this is still true or not.

poshinprincess I emailed posh about a month ago asking them about this cuz I've seen it on multiple closets. They told me you can share as many times as you want and your items go to the top of the party.

nereichek @clking76 well I do too, but as you know sometimes you see an item shared in twos once to followers once to party. Many ambassadors have said you may share others to party. It’s kind of sad it’s not in their rules don’t u think?

gift_ambassador @clking76 - do you know whether sharing the same item multiple times to a party from your own closet moves it up in the feed? Because I could swear it does move to the top when I keep sharing something to a party. I also read somewhere in the Q&As that sharing to a party will share the item to the party and your followers at the same time (but maybe that's just when sharing your own items).

However, my post came directly from posh support, so I error on that and only share my stuff once to a party and ONLY share others closets to my followers, never to a party. hope that helps❤

botablu @1witty_username I know what “they say”. However it doesn’t make sense. For example, I was on the main feed to a party the other night and there were at least 3 listings that stayed at the top of the feed all night. So how would that happen if it’s not changing positions..? It can’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️

After reading this thread, it's my understanding that items can only be shared to a party once. After that, if we share to the party, the shares basically go to our followers. I guess I can understand that. I'm sure they had sellers clogging up party feeds by sharing their own items during the entirety of the event. Dis I understand that correctly @clking76 🤷‍♀️

clking76 @1witty_username close... Per posh, items cam only be shared to a party once. if I share your item to the party after you already did, my share means nothing and goes nowhere... It should fall to your follower's, but posh says, it does not... there are many theories out there, so I error on the side they are stating true and always share other closet's to my follower's, never to parties

botablu @clking76 Hi there! I just tested at least part of this and when they say that the position doesn’t change—that’s definitely untrue. It may not technically “share twice” but it does the same thing by moving the position to the top of the feed. And one of same people whose listing stayed at the top the other night was again, staying at the top cause she must be sharing every few seconds. Not sure why they would tell you this other than to dissuade folks from doing it.🤷🏻‍♀️
