hailstone_ @caroliz21 : Hi love, I personally have had no issues with these rusting, but everyone's skin reacts differently to jewelry. Jewelry usually rusts or oxidizes due to the copper content in the jewelry. When copper interacts w/ the acids and moisture in your skin, it has the potential to oxidize. Copper is present in most jewelry besides stainless steel and real gold. (Continued in next comment)

hailstone_ @caroliz21 : If rusting is a main concern of yours, we recommend to stick to stainless steel jewelry (different from sterling silver; 925 sterling silver is made from at least 92.5% silver, while the rest is usually copper) or real gold jewelry. :) <3

hailstone_ @maddieck1 : I usually try to pat it dry after I wear it. :) For all jewelry besides at least 18k gold or titanium, it's ideal to not let chlorine or salt water sit on it for too long because it can erode the plating with time.

hailstone_ @maddieck1 : Any jewelry with copper is susceptible to tarnishing over time, so something like 925 sterling silver (92.5% silver and 7.5% remaining is usually a metal, most likely copper) will slowly oxidize with wear. It's crucial to take proper care of any jewelry if you wish for it to be in ideal condition. :) <3
