beerisfood @afish56 lol, funny story how beerisfood came to be! I had an emergency appendectomy at university during finals week junior year & my Nana sent me a silly get well card. It had a funny looking cartoon character on the front and said “Just remember.....” and on the inside it said “Beer Is Food!!!” My dear, dear, feisty Irish Nana, Mary Elizabeth Reilly 😊!

I had an emergency appendectomy also, many years ago, got it just in the nick of time. I forgot about that, now I can say I've escaped death 4 times, not 3. turtlewhisperer @beerisfood LOL, you would think so! Almost 8 years ago I was immediately hospitalized with diverticulitis. They needed to get the infection under control before they could operate. As I'm dying, they're pumping me full of antibiotics for days. Too

turtlewhisperer @beerisfood many antibiotics gave me a deathly infection. Five days later I get the surgery. Ten days in the hospital, I go home and start vomiting violently. Home alone, I call 911. Four more days in the hospital with a blockage. It's a crazy scary story and so many people don't know how severe diverticulitis is so I love telling my story. ; )

turtlewhisperer @prigsbee 😯 You are the very first person that has said this. I personally have never had one turn color on me either. I am guessing that you have a high acidic level in your body then that eats away at metals. I need to have my white gold rings rhodiumed every once in a while for that reason myself. Is it just on the bottom or all around?

turtlewhisperer @prigsbee You'll need to find a place that deals with silver. Maybe a mom and pop type place. Some jewelry stores don't deal with silver, a few do but I think that would cost too much for an inexpensive ring. If you have any problems, let me know and I'll see if I can find another one like this. I'm going to be heading to my daughter's in AZ next week for a while but I still take care of issues, I'm just not able to sell so let me know.
