briebeckina @jrodi777 Hello! The metal is zinc alloy. I have had/worn at least 4 or 5 sets. Have had some for years. I will say, the ones stored in a drawer, my makeup bag and in my car console remain unchanged. The ones I have let sit on my bathroom sink or my toddler "borrowed" did get brassy. Hope that helps💕
