poshchica1 @kragozine4 it's the lighting 🙂. We shot the shoes indoor, so light is not diffuse evenly. The shoe is definitely not shiny or smooth. It's a black matted leatherette material with slight texture .

poshchica1 @aubrey102018 these are lace up, so water can get it thru the back where laces are. If you need complete water proof, you need boots with no zippers or laces.
