@lizmel hi thanks for the interest! Yes it has pretty thin shoulder pads and is made of a lightweight polyester blend (97% polyester and 3% spandex)

@carissalee21 it is deep enough to fit my iPhone 6s with my giant otter box on it but the top part of phone is peeking out so guess it depends on how large your phone/phone cover are/how much you want of your phone hidden by the pocket. Hope that helps and Thanks for the interest!
