cigi36 @reereescloset step dad fell had a stroke last Saturday. My brother died twenty days ago from some really fast devastating interstitial lung disease. Sudden thing. Even did chemo to try to stop it. He was so alive but died so hard. Im broken. Functioning but broken. My poor momma is lost. Im here with her making arrangements etc. i got to spend lots of time with my bro. Im so grateful. Lost my best friend tho

reereescloset @cigi36 gosh Carole I don’t even know what to say. That’s a horrible devastating loss for your family. I’m so sorry. I think of you all the time. Still miss the old days. I hope you can find the strength to get through this. Your poor mom. 😢

cigi36 @reereescloset thanks my friend. I miss the old days too. Things changed. Im learning with all this that the only constant in life is CHANGE. Mom is upright but devastated. Handling two estates property etc. my brain is mush. Ill be living up here part time for now. Lots to handle. Mom is 81 but in great shape other than bad knees. Gonna spend as much time as possible. This was a tough blow. We will survive. Take care and keep in touch.

reereescloset @cigi36 were lucky to still have time with our parents. My parents both just turned 92. Dad had a fall when I was out walking with him, broke his shoulder. Mom hospitalized a week later with heart fails. They spent almost three months on rehab. I just moved them to assisted living. It’s been pure hell. During all of that my hubby hospitalized with intestinal blockage. I don’t know how I’ve survived.

Timelines etc. all of this is running together. Take care of yourself. They say “this too shall pass”….. hope it settles down for you
