moodtherapy @upcycle_by_d %100 gold would be solid gold.. Gold filled was created to replace gold plated. As you know plated is a super thin layer of gold on the top and easily wears off.. Well gold filled has a very thick outer layer of gold. Much too thick to ever wear off like plated.. Infact a quality piece of gold filled can be mistaken for solid gold even by jewelers. It is a better dollar for dollar value than gold, and will last a lifetime, Mike

moodtherapy @cxwilliams28 Hello, This listing is for just 1, not a pair. Are you asking if a piercing is required to wear it? That answer would be a yes. If you look at the second picture, you can see the whole hoop. I can make one in the faux (fake) style, so you wouldn’t need to be pierced. However being in the top of the ear it most likely would be painful to wear for long periods of time. Mike
