Yep, it’s true. If you’re like me and share your listings multiple times at parties, it’s good to know it doesn’t matter — each listing will only show up once. Poshmark Support confirmed it when I wrote them. Hoping to spread the word to save everyone some time! 😘 Also please share other closets’ listings to *your followers only*, not in parties, because we might have already done that and your shares won’t show up. innermuse @irish_tink good question! And no, Poshmark told me it only shows up once and in the first position (i.e. doesn’t move when shared again). Hope that makes sense 💗

innermuse @fortunatefinds I originally thought that’s how it worked and wish it did! Also really wish Poshmark would publicize this little known fact. It’s not in the FAQs or anything. Or at least have the listing automatically shared to followers after shared once in the party.

innermuse @fortunatefinds yeah I’ve noticed that sharing to parties doesn’t do a whole lot in terms of visibility and sales. I’ll get more shares, maybe one like, and one time I sold an item immediately. After a year and a half, I fiiiiinally got some host picks. But in the end, sharing directly to followers gives me the most bang for my buck, so to speak. Parties are over saturated (millions of listings shared in a short time frame) which can be unhelpful for visibility.

cawoodcollectn It is only shared to the party once but it bring it up in the search option in ALL list details. So either way it is still great for business. I have done personal research on this. And share slowly so it shows each listing inside of you shared a bulk share. 🤗 Happy Poshing

This post is mostly to let other poshers know that listings only show up once in parties, so if they do a second share run, they should just share to followers instead. There’s been some confusion around that part. Thanks for your input! 💕

azuremoons I usually go to a closet and share several items back to back to my followers. If I get a stop bot I won't share from that closet again. Just because a lot is shared at once does not mean it is being posted to a party. Or did I ready your stop sharing bot wrong.

I was just pointing out that it’s more helpful to share other posher’s listings to your followers instead of in parties, because that posher may have already shared all their listings to the party (and each listing will only show up once in a party). Hope that helps! 💕

ciaoginabella Thank you so much for letting us know. I had know idea. The time I have waisted. I didn’t know about sharing others closets either. From now on I will only share to my followers. What drives me nuts is when someone shares the same item from your closet 4/5 times, if they are taking time why can’t they share 5 different pieces. I love to share beautiful pieces no matter who’s they are. If you have a great closet I want people to see it. So thanks again, you just saved me so much time. Gina

innermuse @mcstace22 hi! Welcome! On the main page for your closet, you’ll see a tool icon in the top right corner. Click that and if there’s a party going on, you’ll see “share to (insert name of party” under “bulk share” options. You’ll be able to select which items you want to share to the party.

innermuse @mcstace22 You can also use that function to share your whole closet to followers which I recommend doing multiple times per day to get views on items. Hope this helps! There’s also info like this in Poshmark’s FAQ section 💖
