selinak8 @brookedcampbell Updated in listing, technically the width could be 22-but when I measure from each seam it overlaps a little in the middle. (width=pit to pit).

selinak8 @alexroberts797 Hi, that is a good question! TBH, I have not worn this for over 20 years but I recall it being a relaxed fit-see the second pic with robe closed and tied. It is not meant to be form-fitting, so definitely a small fit, not XS. I guess M could wear it depending on how big the person's chest is. Its 21" from one side to the other laying flat. If you are trying to surprise someone, measure the robe they use now (or something with similar material) and compare the inches for size).

selinak8 @alexroberts797 I wore this well into my 'medium' phase-which didn't last long as I was 'living large' in no time. I gained weight so fast and always swore I would get back down, but now-that just makes me laugh. Let me know if you have other questions.... :)
