Emma Hopes shoes are impeccably hand crafted in family owned factories in Tuscany, Italy and are regalia for the feet. These lavender velvet mules are the perfect hostess shoe & have only been worn inside. The gold decorative embroidery is enhanced with tiny olive beads creating circular florets. 1 1/2" black wood kitten heel. Insole is sueded leather for non-slip comfort. Purple leather on the insole blends into heel. Size 8.

maltesers Could you please indicate the insole measurement? I am a size 37.5 any insight? Thank you!

britishposh @maltesers thanks for your interest. I’ve measured the insole and it’s approx 10” the out sole is 11”. I find with a pointed toe the foot can only go down as far as where the point begins, hence the insole/outsole difference. I am a true 8 and these are a perfect fit. If you have a slim foot they could work but they are definitely a true size 8. Hope this helps.

maltesers @britishposh Sorry for the late response. I measured some other 37.5 pointy slip ons I have and they are 1 inch shorter which would be almost two sizes smaller than yours. Are you sure about your measurements? Sorry to bother you but they are lovely! Thanks!

britishposh @maltesers I have posted another photo, with a tape measure. I wore these shoes once when I hosted an at home dinner party. They are like new and have not stretched out in any way. If you have worn pointed shoes in the past and have gone up a 1/2 size, then these could work. I hope this helps, I’d love you to have them, they are like princess slippers!!

maltesers @britishposh Thank you very much for posting the photo, went back to measure but I am still over 1 cm in length, sadly have to give up on these the pink Marc Jacobs platforms and and a couple more!
