Thanks for visiting my closet. I am the original owner of just about everything in my closet, except a few items from family. I do not thrift, as I am trying to seriously downsize all of the possessions I have acquired over 50 years of marriage, living in the same house, raising 3 sons, and working. They should be listed in the "News" link in the order received and even how long ago they replied. There are categories and "Offers" sorts out all the other stuff. I would give preference to a regular customer first. They don't see each other's replies, so don't worry about that. Congratulations.

jcjones46 They didn't warn me there would be a trade . . . now I can see to drive, but can't thread a needle (as if I even do that anymore lol). I bought a bunch of straight 2.5 readers and almost fell every time I got up from the dizziness. So I tried the bifocals, but I might as well have kept wearing the glasses I wore all my life. I think the half glass might be the solution . . . wear low and look over.

galactic_bloom @jcjones46 Hey I only figure it’s worth a shot. You’re obviously welcome to counter offer, unless your price is firm. Then it’s a great idea to mark it as such. An offer is a way to start a negotiation, maybe you don’t budge, maybe you knock off a dollar. Who knows. The problem with the Poshmark market is that buyers are almost always paying essentially $7 shipping. Realistically the resale value of many items is below even that cost alone.

As a seller, it’s your prerogative to only accept offers that reasonably cover your costs. There are perfectly elegant ways to ship your items economically, tissue paper and thank you note included.

galactic_bloom @jcjones46 Though consider that some of your buyers would rather not suffer the overhead costs of superfluous things, especially in the case of a “gift,” as you mentioned. I have never included a gift in my sales nor received one in my purchases. Hope that helps.

jcjones46 Sorry for sticking my nose in your business. I thought you were new. I am not a salesperson, and negotiating is not my forte. That is why I don't chase down likers with offers. The little extra things is what makes Poshmark enjoyable for me. I do indeed realize the shipping is high, and taxes adds to it, but I do not figure my costs in the price.

jcjones46 I do not feel my gifts are superfluous and neither do my repeat customers. I am talking a bookmark and some sweets. I just haven't figured out a way to make selling those lower priced items more reasonable. Making a bundle helps, but there might not be more things a buyer wants. I would have considered a new offer and have in the past. BOGO sales? It is all a learning process and to each his own. Best Wishes

I’m grumpy right now because my sciatica has limited my ability to sit at either my computer or sewing machine - only comfortable on the couch!🤪🤨watching QVC and YouTube videos at the same time. We have been healthy- the ladies who take care of my husband are very careful to stay clean for both of us. Not in a rush to go anywhere for a while. Hope you are doing well.

jcjones46 Hi Lisa, I'm hanging in there. I have gotten so caught up and getting used to sewing again I keep falling behind on my Poshmark correspondence. Thank you. The reason is unfortunate, but I am so glad I can keep my grandkids and kids (who know it is real) safe. Unfortunately I have one son who can't swallow it . . . "the flu kills people every year" - They live in a county that has been pretty safe and everyone runs around breaking all the rules. I make sure my two grandkids have masks!!!

Decided against a biopsy of a growth on husband's arm since he is in hospice and there would be no treatment anyway. jcjones46 @greenbaypackers Boy, do I hear you. i just haven't felt like doing anything lately. My husband went from hospice to palliative care. He is just not ready to leave me yet! I got my shots, so I have been able to have another "safe" couple for dinner, and get to hug my granddaughter again (not like I ever exactly stopped, but they haven't been able to visit as often...he made it through the covid19 just like you suggested he might!) I don't feel depressed, just sort of "meh"
