Clam shell style is footed and is unmarked. It HAS been professionally tested and IS Sterling. weighs 106 grams. Minor hair line scratches to both as one should expect from antique items. Bowl measures approx. 6 x 6 x almost 2" tray/dish measures 6.25 x 4.25 x 1.75. Bowl is marked as Mexico Plateador S.A P91. Weight 219 grams. Hairline scratches. Hard 2 photo. Hazing due to my polishing. Not a flaw.

washtooposh Clam shell dish has no markings? Jeweller tested to authenticate it’s sterling silver? Tho other dish is just plated and holds very little value, in marketplace and to me at least. At minimum, Clam has some melt value if indeed sterling i might be interested in.
