I measured from the cross seam to the other cross seam directly under the armpits and it was about 19 and a fourth inches.

@rushmmmore it looks about 14.75 inches. But that's from the seams where the arms are sewn on. When I put it on, my own shoulders are extended somewhat beyond those seams. Do you want my shoulder measurement?
