I was almost victim of this from another posher. She was stealing rock and miss me jeans from a few people. One girl was being promised the same jeans I was being promised so that was the big red flag. I immediately messaged the other posher this thief was trying to steal from and she diverted her package back to her house so she wasn't at a loss. But others weren't so fortunate. There were 3 I could confirm that she "traded" STOLE from. I wish posh would have more protection against this.

@debrabelcher it’s truly disgusting how people are. Please always be diligent and protect yourself! Sounds like you are! I rarely trade with new people because of this lady anymore. I have a handful of trusted traders and that’s it anymore. I felt ok with her cuz we traded one time before with no issues and the second time she burned me so it’s hard for me to trust now. 😞

@melyelvington we need a safe to trade list or something. I almost traded with this person, had I not seen her promising the same jeans to someone else I probably would have. Its a shame because I too am now not so quick to be willing to trade because of the thieves that are lingering on here. I'd love to be able to trade with someone if we both had items of interest. I'm like you though, leary of the short term accounts.

I'd say at least 6 months of use with at least 10 positive reviews I'd make an exception to trade with someone. Posh could manage this under those guidelines. Set it to not allow someone to listen and item for under $5 until they have been active for 6 months with 10 good reviews. That might eliminate this from happening.

I have only traded one time because i read the terrible stories. I think posh needs to update the rules, too many fake items being sold as authentic and they are not. Too many fake items not to mention the woman who sold a high price CHANEL bag, waited the three days to get $ only to have it rejected returned and it was not the same bag as sold. Sorry to say this but so many scams, that honest sellers and buyers are the minority...

@finer133 I hear ya fellow posher! And agree! I never imagined some of the things I heard happening on here!! Unbelievable!! I have actually had people thank me AND reward me for taking her face off the top off my closet!! 😂 that’s why I don’t even share her anymore but other people still do even though her account is deleted 🤷♀️
