prim822 @tvon US 42 and UK 42 are the same. Pants are 36 x 30. No on the suspended buttons, as these pants have tabs for tightening. But, you could always put in buttons, probably no more than $10.

rushinoff My husband is a 32 or 33 waist. Can the pants be altered? Are they flat or pleated? Are there vents in the jacket?

prim822 @rushinoff the trousers can be taken in and lengthened as there is enough fabric available. The jacket is not vented as it is a one button and traditionally single button suit jackets are not vented.
