On 11/13, I lost the most loving wonderful mother to cancer. She fought until the bitter end. I will miss her so much, and I will miss the woman that I spoke to every day for the last 56 years. ๐ข She was the most loving Mother who loved all her children so deeply. @lachelle64 oh boy! Iโm so sorry you went through that. Itโs so tough when they mention the โCโ word. ๐ฅ๐ my sister has lymphoma at age 44 and struggled but wasnโt so lucky, thatโs a hard type of cancer to beat. I miss her terribly, itโs been 10 years since sheโs gone. My Mom is 80 but is s tough cookie. She has 3 weeks of chemo left and then 4 week break then she will get a mastectomy and all her lymph nodes under her arm removed.

After that is daily radiation for 6 weeks. I worry that her 80 year old body canโt handle it. This is her wish, to continue to fight. Listen she is a huge prayer and I will mention you to her. Breast cancer had come a long way so I think you will be just fine. Thanks for your kind words to me today ๐๐น

@jennifernora32 Aww Thanks Theresa she is hanging in there. She gets her last chemotherapy treatment on Tuesday. She had to go 12 weeks of it. After that she takes a 4 week break and then she has her mastectomy. Sheโs a tough cookie. Thanks for the prayers ๐๐

@ginasgems4you Thanks for asking, I'm doing better, I stayed metal brace for 6 months, went to therapy for another six months,was about to make a sergry for my back, but the doctor said I'm doing better, my back killing me when I set on a metal chair, I'm not 50 years old with 5 kids from age 8 till 21 years old ๐ฅ

3 1/2 hours in surgery, sheโs doing ok! Thank God!
The doctor ended up doing a modified radical mastectomy which is more tissue and lymph nodes removed. Doc said her vitals were good through all of it and she did good
Whew! She is resting in her room and very groggy from the anesthesia but so far so good. Next step, radiation... ๐

@debbie043059 Thank you so much Deb, she had a radical mastectomy on 3/5 and was in surgery for 3 1/2 hours! ๐จThank God she did ok. She has been recovering here at home with me and will start radiation on 4/8 for 6 weeks, thanks so much for reaching out and your continued prayers. Itโs greatly appreciated โค๏ธ๐๐

Mom is doing ok... but not me, I just found out that I have a 16CM mass on my ovary and Iโm having a total hysterectomy on 4/26 ๐ญ๐ญ they are not sure if itโs cancer or not, they wonโt know until they open me up and remove the mass and biopsy it๐จ๐จ

@flutter_buys Thank you Karen!!! I received a call from the hospital late Monday night that she couldnโt breathe. They initially thought she had a pulmonary embolism, then they said she had pneumonia. So they admitted her. The next day the cardiologist told me she had too much stress on the heart from not being able to breathe so she ended up having a mild heart attack. She is having a cardiac catheterization done. ๐๐๐๐๐ Iโm so stressed!!

She was moved to a special cardiac care unit.
She had issues with her blood pressure being high for the first few hours, but then they finally got it regulated.

@samipoo24 Yes ๐ข she had left breast and lymph node cancer last year, she underwent chemo, left mastectomy and multiple lymph nodes were removed. After that she had radiation. She finished everything in June. I thought she beat cancer. So now itโs on the right side of her lymph nodes under her arm and in her spine. Iโm so devastated and confused ๐ข

She lives in Delray but when she was getting treatment for her breast cancer she stayed with me for six months and I took her to Jupiter but eventually she went back home to see doctors from Delray, but I brought here with me in port at Lucie until we figure all this out

Sry Iโm just now getting areound to you but I spent almost all afternoon in the doctors Ofc I had a bad reaction to a drug they gave me for Osteoporosis & can barely use my right arm. Yeah we are actually on the way now to her oncologist appointment to get her blood biopsy results. My brother flew in and also my cousin so she has a good support group. ๐ thanks for checking in on me I really appreciate it. You are so sweet ๐ Is everything ok with Karen? @flutter_buys ? @ginasgems4you oh Gina, Iโm so sorry. Yes, just keep her as comfortable as possible. Iโm sure you will. Last year at this time I was going thru the same exact nightmare. They gave my mom 3 weeks but she doubled that and made 6 weeks!! So they donโt know everything. Only God does. Have you gotten hospice in yet to help you? They can really be helpful. Cherish every moment with her. Iโm sorry you have to go thru this. Itโs so sad and hard to watch.

My son and my brother are flying down from NY this week. I have a large Italian family whom are so supportive and we are all so close. ๐ Would love to meet you some day soon ๐ค

@ginasgems4you Believe me... I do understand. I lost my Mom to Cancer when I was 22 and she was only 44. Thatโs the toughest thing Iโve ever been through and I still miss her and think of her every day. My only comfort was knowing she was no longer suffering and was with our father in Heaven. Iโll be praying for you I know the heart is slow to heal but God will help you through this.

I pray for you & your family's comfort & hope. My family knows the pain & the battle. My MIL has fought breast cancer twice. It spread to her thyroid & she fought bravely again. This year, her cancer was found in her brain. In spring, a trip to ER, knocking on death's door from a trial medicine. In May, she came home to live out her days with 2-3 week expectancy. She is still with us, but she has began morphine and it won't be long.

So sorry, ๐๐๐ป๐, we lost our mom several years ago to Ovarian cancer. My dad to brain cancer & I could go on. My husband says to celebrate their birthdays ๐. I miss my folks terribly, both awesome parents & people. We were truly blessed to have them as long as we did into their 70โs. Praying soon for a cure to all cancers ๐๐ป.
