Vintage Avoca Ireland Aran Cable Knit Wool Sweater. 100% pure new wool. Tag states "machine washable on wool cycle". Air dry flat. Avoca is one of Ireland's best-known and oldest handweaving companies. The Avoca mill is the oldest working woollen mill in Ireland and dates back to at least 1723. When flat on front, 19.5" between underarms, 16" across at waistband and length is 25". This sweater is soft, thick, chunky and beautifully knit, with a lovely stitch pattern. Handmade to last a lifetime.
