I know that the neon Henri Bendel light up sign is being sold for local pickup in NYC. The standing jewelry trunks were already sold. No word on the mirror.

valprincipe @allzedetails hi haili! tell me about it. I went into a frenzy buying up all of my favorite bendel items from over the years. I keep thinking L Brands will say “just kidding” and bring them back. wish I was wealthy enough to buy the HB brand myself to bring it back. craziest part is that I was so turned off by the changes they made to the product mix that I hadn’t stepped foot in the store for at least a few years.

urbangeishala I became a #bendelgirl late in the game. I had no idea how great quality and affordable their leathers and accessories were. A gf if mine who was a serious bender girl gifted me an HB bangle one day and I was smitten. I’m glad I was able to get a few pieces of HB before they close. I wish Limited didn’t acquire them. I feel that they did not manage HB well considering the provenance of the NYC institution. So sad. Like Barney’s NYC

Searle, Scoop NYC, Henri Bendel, Barney’s were both inspirational and aspirational for me when I first moved to the city in 2006. My search for pre-Limited Bendel items continues. Easier said than done, as the up and coming brands carried at HB are hard to identify now. The jewelry and headbands were always so incredible. If you see any, please feel free to tag me!
