Here’s a pair of black sweats with the word PINK written down the leg in white lettering. These are in store now. Bought new and literally wore a short time and the piling is terrible. The quality of VS has gone downhill. So sad! . See pics where the piling is.

cherryblast @mbenson0 I bought these new from the VS store. It didn’t have a tag, but was the only one my size so I bought them. (I can’t find my receipt or I’d have returned them). I literally have a feeling they were returned by someone and put on the floor cuz I put them on for 20 min and took them off when I noticed the piling. If I had the patience I’d pick them off but I just don’t think the quality is the same.

cherryblast @carly_rose85 swear on my life! I also said that there was no tag on them when I purchased them so maybe they were returned and put on the shelf? The size tag was on/and I kept that and the girl at the store said I could return them if I wanted to so maybe I should just do that. I have no reason to lie here.

bayouboheme @cherryblast maybe someone wore them in and walked out with a 5 finger trade??? when i was in grad school i worked in accessories and shoes at Belk- any time we were really busy, inevitably I'd find shoe boxes with someone's old cast off shoes in the box- They would try on, swap out and cruise. SMH. never ceases to amaze me.

I def think it would be worth my time to take them back and get a full refund or see if they’ll give me another pair. I can’t find my receipt that’s the only problem.

bayouboheme @cherryblast Happy to point out an entirely likely scenario. In browsing closets I encounter a lot of baseless, inappropriately accusatory comments 😏 When I run across a suspect listing I move on to the next closet- if it totally raises a red flag I report it, rather than be ugly to a fellow posher by accusing them of being dishonest - especially when I have zero means of being 100% certain that is actually the case. It's thoughtless, rude & self-serving plus makes that person look really petty.

bayouboheme @cherryblast can't hurt to try. Plus perhaps the folks at VS store might be a bit more vigilant if they know to watch out for that sort of thing. After all, It happened to you due to a breakdown in store security. If you paid with a card they may be able to retrieve the transaction that way.
