caitlinscott14 You could have at least countered the offer. I wanted to use my birthday money to buy these and I didn’t have $120 to cover it... you don’t have a box and they are used so I felt it was over priced. But to not even respond... just not very kind of you.

ocean_breeze33 @caitlinscott14 Hi Caitlin! I’m sorry you’re unhappy with your experience, but let’s clear some things up. I had someone make an offer on these boots before you and she was willing to pay only a few dollars less than my asking price, hence the reason why your offer (that was made after hers) was declined when I accepted hers. She later on cancelled her offer, which is why these are still available.

ocean_breeze33 @caitlinscott14 I’m not quite sure where the box for them is coming into play, since I’ve never mentioned having one or not having one. I apologize that you personally feel that these are “overpriced,” but considering they retail for $160, were only worn once, and are in perfect condition, I think my price is fair and reasonable, especially with the seller fees that Posh takes out.

caitlinscott14 @ocean_breeze33 Sorry you missed my point. You are asking a very high price for used boots with no box. I made an offer and you didn’t not even respond or counter. If this is how you plan to run your business then you’ll have more people backing out like you mentioned already happened.

caitlinscott14 Your seller fees and shipping fees are on you because you chose to list on this site. Same boots as yours on eBay are $30 less with the box and free shipping. You list them for what you want, but then you should at least respond to potential buyers... that’s just bad customer service. Good luck.

ocean_breeze33 @caitlinscott14 Hi again, Caitlin! It’s unfortunate that you’re choosing to act this way. Like I said, your offer was declined because I accepted the offer I received before yours. A decline is a response, and there would be no reason for me to counter your offer when I had accepted another offer.

ocean_breeze33 @caitlinscott14 Your offer was declined because I received a better offer before yours and accepted that before you had even sent your offer, so I’m sorry that you didn’t get what you wanted but that’s not “bad customer service.” It is what it is. Although it’s none of your business, the buyer “backed out” due to payment issues with her card on file.

ocean_breeze33 @caitlinscott14 Again, I’m not sure where this “no box” nonsense is coming in to play, because no one has ever asked if I have one or not for you to see/know that information. You’re just saying I don’t have one without knowing. You’re acting like these boots are beat up and abused when they were worn once for a very short amount of time and are in perfect condition.

ocean_breeze33 @caitlinscott14 Quite frankly they’re in the same condition as a brand new pair that was just tried on in the store, and whoever chooses to purchase these would not be able to tell the difference between a brand new pair in Nordstrom and the pair I’m selling because they’re in perfect condition. But if you found the boots on eBay for a better price for you, feel free to buy them there — you’re not obligated to purchase from my closet.

ocean_breeze33 @caitlinscott14 For your reference, I’ve added an additional photo to this listing showing you that your offer came in after the first offer that I accepted due to it being almost my asking price, thus you getting a decline notification on your order when I hit accept on hers. Everyone on here is aware of Posh’s fees and adjust their prices accordingly, so if you don’t agree with my pricing...well, no one is forcing you to shop my closet. Have a great day.

ocean_breeze33 @caitlinscott14 I’m not going to apologize for declining your lowball offer and accepting the offer I received before yours that was for the appropriate amount that I wanted, and I went “on and on” due to character limits on here that wouldn’t allow me to correct you in one comment. My perfect condition boots, their box, and I will have a great day though!

ocean_breeze33 @caitlinscott14 You’re acting like a child because you’re upset that I didn’t accept your lowball offer and corrected all the inaccurate things you’ve been saying. Give it a rest. You’re trying to talk down about my “rain boots” now, but you still wanted them badly enough before so...
