beach_styles @cloerayray that’s awful I’m so sorry! I purchased a lot of these pants there was a pair that was ripped at the pocket very similar to the picture you just showed me, I returned those but inspected the rest very carefully💛💛 All the remaining pants that I have or have sold were in perfect condition I think it’s just this material that is easily separated maybe in the washing machine or if it was pulled on something... Again I’m so so sorry

cloerayray @beach_styles thank you for the prompt responses and for the apology. But unfortunately I don’t want a replacement pair of these pants, they are so poorly made. Literally the the act of putting them on for the first time revealed a defective seam and ripped the paper thin fabric. Rip Curl never should have sold these pants, the fabric and seams are so fragile.

beach_styles @cloerayray I totally agree, I was questioning that myself with the first pair I noticed that ripped! I can help you out if you decide to build a bundle but I can’t offer something in return or exchange only because I do not work at Rip Curl nor do I own the company if I was I would able to damage it out and be refunded for the cost but since I am a reseller I would be out on another item...

cloerayray @beach_styles Hello, thank you again for the reply. I understand and know you are not affiliated with RC. I just though since you are running more of a boutique/business of selling brand new clothes on Poshmark (vs someone just selling their used clothes), there would be a way to work something out. Again it is disappointing to buy a brand new item for almost $40.00 that is damaged while putting it on for the first time.

cloerayray This was a truly unique experience and I was honestly shocked. Just to clarify they had not been worn or washed, that was why I even reached out in the first place. Upon putting them on for the first time I saw the damage to the seam and took them off since they were rendered unwearable by the simple act of putting them on for the first time. Let me know if you change your mind about an exchange for a similar product/price point. Thank you for your time!

The pants were in perfect condition when you receive them, my packaging and shipping was on time the rating is based upon all of those items not if the item was damaged after receiving...

cloerayray @beach_styles I was under the impression that a 1 star rating would not affect your sales in anyway (I think poshmark only shares love notes on your shop page, and low ratings are only shared with the seller). I am definitely not trying to negatively affect your family business. Sadly we are just not seeing eye to eye on this. From my perceptive while the pants looked fine on the outside they were structurally flawed from the beginning.

cloerayray @beach_styles If on the first use the pants seam began to unravel and tear in 2 places that is unacceptable. There was no way to discover that unless the pants were put on. My only regret is not putting them on the day they arrived to discover the damage and reach out accordingly.

cloerayray @beach_styles The reason for my one star is even though you were a great seller to work with at the end of the day you sold me a defective product. Especially since you came across the same problem on another pair of the same pants I thought it would be fair to negotiate getting another item from your shop of equal or lesser value. At this point I will reconsider my 1 star rating we can both move on.

beach_styles @cloerayray I definitely don’t think that the product was defective, I was just saying there was another parent that had a hole in it and agreeing with you that I didn’t really like the material! Everyone that has purchased these pants have been extremely happy and love them! Again I’m so sorry... I did try and do my best to make it right with some options that I gave you! If I was a store I would exchange it in heartbeat it just makes it really difficult on here😢
