heyvivretro @tearosepetals Hi - I pulled the dress and had another look. The top edge of the back has elastic so there's some stretch there and the fabric has spandex. The back will stretch to 42" easily so it can go an inch or so more. It should be form fitting so it will stay up and in place. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions.
