I met a wonderful older lady in Yellowstone NP last summer, And it was like we were meant to meet each other. However we were on our Motorcycle and I lost her info on our Week long trip 😥 Her Name was Timmy, I believe. sargebill @evelyn982 Thank you too, it took me a month to restore that gun cabinet , I sanded, cleaned, disassembled, more sanding,cleaning, staining, reassembled it the fun part was getting it into the house, 7ft tall, forgot the fan was on, whacked it, now it wobbles on high setting. I put everything on castor wheels dad taught me the burning techniques in wood working with a torch and steel wool

sargebill @evelyn982 I'll go to gun shops and surplus stores, when a salesman ask me if they can help me find something, I'll tell em to point me towards the old dusty stuff that nobody wants. I root through stuff like a hog in slop, lol Got hold of an early WW2 Hawley paratroopers helmet, all complete, that sucker can buy a new car paid in cash !!!!!

sargebill @evelyn982 auctions too, as a kid, things like that were found for almost nothing, even a German helmet could be bought for 2.00 then, now pay for em as you can see mine, amazing what things sell for today but not everyone owns civil war diaries like I do, POW memoirs, etc... some I found in inside compartments of my packs
