Kathryn, thanks for your comments and glad you like the plates. I have a funny story about When these plates first came out and my mother bought a set. She was so proud to have chip and non breakable service Ware. A plate fell on the kitchen floor and not a ding nor a chip. So, being so proud she wanted to share her joy.

Continuing, my mom took a plate outside and said to our next door neighbor look I bought unbreakable plates and tossed it down onto our cement back porch. It broke into a pile of many pieces and our neighbor thought my mom was insane. LOL It was a lesson! They will break if thrown onto cement. She was able to get it replaced by mailing in the broken pieces to Corelle.
