I unknowingly bought a fake 24 karat frost skin pro palette. Didn't know till it came in the mail and I started looking up the real palette to compare. An easy indicator is that the letter coloring is the same on the front of the box on the authentic one, where the fake has the Jeffree Star emblem dark pink. Plus, you can't get past the wrong spelling on the back that I have circled in my first pic. I added comparable pics from the Jeffree Star website. These fakes can be dangerous! DO NOT BUY!

resendetra @scarletteashley Yes, it was from a posh ambassador named ginamarina74. She only had three and they all sold. Posh wants me to return the one I got, I just hope she doesn't try to relist.

scarletteashley @resendetra @resendetra thank you 🙏🏼 As a seller I list “authentic” or “knockoff”.People should be given the choice and not tricked.

christineshelle Thank you! I have been in the market for this very palette, and am greatful for this post. BTW, if I ever receive a fake from on here, I will be getting my money back. Homie don't play that game!

resendetra @christineshelle You're welcome! As soon as I found out this one was fake, I turned right around and opened a case against the seller. PM sent me a return label within a few hours. You live, you learn I guess. I just bought the platinum ice pro palette off Morphe instead, I think I might like that ones colors better anyway.

myaheirby16 @scarletteashley why would you want the fake is could have rat shit in it
Apr 02Reply
scarletteashley
scarletteashley @myaheirby16 lol so could the real one, google private labeling, all make up not made in USA comes from 1 of 6 factories in china and most of the time you are paying for the brand name on the package. Additionally some things called knockoff are really authentic but they have imperfections that the buyer wont accept but the manufacturer wants to get back their money like one misspelled shadow name. Also red and purple eyeshadow is ground up beetle if it isn’t vegan. Youtube to confirm

myaheirby16
myaheirby16 @scarletteashley Still I’d rather go to the drugstore and get a pallet for 10 bucks and get a fake one for the same price and any ground up the Beatles for the red and the purple eyeshadow they’re clean please make sure that there’s no kind of germs or anything we could give your infections rat poop in your eyeshadow literally putting shit on your face I would rather put ground beetles that I know have been cleaned and tested to make sure they’re safe and putting ratchet on my face

scarletteashley
scarletteashley @myaheirby16 ok. You must’ve missed the point, ALL drug store make up is made in those 8 china factories. You really should google how much you are assuming is safe because of whatever ideas you decided makes them safe. While you are googling check out the legal amount of hair, insects, animal droppings and pus that is allowed by the FDA to be in our food.

scarletteashley @myaheirby16 Fun fact ELF and NARS are the EXACT same products in different packaging. The list goes on. P.S. I didn’t realize there were clean bug carcasses, maybe there is clean rat shit too 😂

myaheirby16
myaheirby16 Yes but there’s been pallets that have found to be more rat shit then pigment

philly239
philly239 @resendetra so the one with the swirl pattern on the outside is fake correct?
Jun 01Reply
resendetra
resendetra @philly239 The real one also has the swirl pattern. The easiest way to tell is that the star along with Jeffree Star Cosmetics wording should be black like the 24 karat wording on the box. One the pallette, the star and top wording should be black with light pink for the 24 karat wording. Another big thing is the sizes, the fakes are always smaller. Plus, make sure the wording is spelled correctly for the colors and the back of the box.

philly239
philly239 @resendetra I just purchased one on merc but the star & "Jeffree Star cosmetics" is a hot pinkish purple & "24 Karat" is a soft nudish pink
Jun 01Reply
philly239
philly239 @resendetra on the box, "depending" is spelled DEPENOING & "Intensity" is spelled INYENSITY
Jun 01Reply
philly239
philly239 @resendetra same exact spelling as the one in the top picture of this listing
Jun 01Reply
philly239
philly239 I will say this, after swatching this palette, the colors are actually identical to the real js highlighters in the palette & are very richly pigmented.. it's crazy!

lish_cosmetics Goes to show just because they're an "Ambassador" doesn't mean they're honest.

chrissquasi
chrissquasi @scarletteashley yes, carmine is a red color ingredient made by grinding CLEAN, sterilized beetle carcasses so they do exist.
Sep 17Reply
chrissquasi
chrissquasi @scarletteashley also Poshmark doesn’t allow a choice between authentic and replica here - zero replicas or anything are allowed to be listed on posh.
Sep 17Reply
scarletteashley
scarletteashley @chrissquasi unfortunately Poshmark doesn’t list the year long with the date because this written in March 2019
Sep 17Reply
chrissquasi
chrissquasi @scarletteashley oops my bad. I apologize but I’m truly glad you’re still active on posh! 😊

sc_nicole
sc_nicole yes there are tons of foreign sites to buy the fakes wholesale or single such as wish. if the price is less than 60% regular that did not come in a beauty box and they don't sell wholesale and they have multiples there's a good chance it's a knock off.

lilithbeth @resendetra Thank you for listing this information. I really appreciate it. Counterfeit fake products are dangerous to use and I don’t want to risk my skin and health. Thanks again for posting this pictures and details for us as buyers. ✨🖤✨
