velvetbohemian 🙄 I know. Their customer service is unbelievably inadequate in many cases. I do hope they fix it because 20% commission feels like a lot when they don’t have the customer service support to back it up

justposh92 I always call my card company before buying a huge purchase but this is not Poshmarks place I mean obviously 🙄 you knew you were buying the bag It’s a shame to because you could lose buying it People buy right under people on the site

politicalgurl @justposh92 FYI it wasn’t my credit card company. I was using a debit card and I had called Chase bank my bank and they knew I was making the purchase it was poshmark who wanted their own confirmation. They have in place their own spectate secondary confirmation for purchases of a certain amount. How much thst amount is is a secret to me. I have purchased $4000 before without a problem. So no; it wasn’t my bank it was poshmark.

lambiance_paris Probably the Posh algorithm bot just “detected” you maybe made a big purchase after a small purchases in a small timeframe. Or you made several large purchases in a short amount of time. Or didn’t purchase anything on the app in a while. Similar to social platforms how their algorithm can falsely ban or block real posts/accounts. Also authentic luxury items can be flagged as “replicas” on Posh. All social and buyer/seller platforms have this algorithm issue that can be really annoying.
